Kennametal facility in Solon, Ohio (suburb of Cleveland), a leading provider of industrial tooling, engineered components and advanced materials is seeking programmers to support the CNC equipment in manufacturing. Preferred candidate will record, verify, and pull reference material for incoming manufacturing orders. Record and release out-going manufacturing orders. Maintain master routing and programming electronic/paper files and records in pre-production departments. Work with manufacturing supervisors/floor leads to organize and maintain shop floor folders and files. Distribute all paper and electronic documents in support of manufacturing orders. Enter process and CNC programming data into master Cleveland CAM database. Build and maintain all DNC electronic files and folders. Work with process planners and CNC programmers to insure data integrity. Perform routine data entry and maintenance on SAP routings and Bill of Materials (BOM).Compile statistical and KPI data in support of department management reports.
Experience and Skills:
High school graduate with a minimum of 3-5 years CNC programming experience combined with 5-7 years diversified manufacturing experience in a moderate to complex machining environment or associate degree in a technical field with 2-3 years CNC programming experience combined with 3-5 years diversified manufacturing experience.
