Process Applications Engineer

The Process Engineer is responsible for the producing test results of the BTU Thermal equipment at the direction of the Senior Process Engineer.

 

He/she will perform applications tests and experiments to support marketing, sales and engineering. In addition, they will participate in customer demonstrations, trade shows, and industry trade organizations. Description of duties and responsibilities:Ensure that the BTU Thermal Application Laboratory & equipment is maintained and operational.

Perform applications tests and experiments to support marketing, sales and engineering for:



Competitive analysis with BTU competitive advantages and differentiation

Product brochures, data and spec sheets

Cost of Ownership data and tools

  Articles/White Papers/Applications Notes Participate in customer demonstrations, trade shows as requiredParticipate in industry trade organizations as required Support the Writing and Publication of technical articles in industry trade magazines







Skills and abilities needed for this position:

 5 10 years of experience in the industry

Excellent Oral Communication & Presentation Skills

Excellent Written Communication Skills

Experience in Windows based software applications (Word, Excel etc.)

Technical Experience and/or Knowledge in Product or MarketEducation and training needed for this position:

BS degree or equivalent

Masters level preferred
