Pro/E Drafter – Manufacturing Company in Akron, OH is looking for a CAD Operater proficient with Pro/Engineer.  Provide daily Pro/Engineer surface model generation and analysis support to the Industrial Design group.  Organizing and prioritizing surface modeling work to correlate with industrial design cycle and project completion dates.  Support generation of prototype models and designs by providing 3D and /or 2D CAD data to industrial designers or outside vendors.  Help with the generation of Concept Design Sheets (CDS) by developing preliminary drawings or sketches of Pro/Engineer models and designs. Provide Pro/Engineer drafting and analysis support to the product engineering, project engineering and sourcing groups as required.  Qualifications Required   5+ years experience using Pro/Engineer, emphasis on use of surfaces  2 years experience using Pro/Intralink   1 year experience using Pro/E Wildfire 3.0.  Detail oriented, highly organized and ability to perform job duties with minimal supervision.  Good written and verbal communication skills.    Ability to work in a fast paced environment  Preferred   Associates degree in an engineering field.  Working in a cross functional team environment.  Experience using Microsoft Office applications.  Experience with industrial design engineering, analysis, and specifications.  CAD Data Administration experience Built on more than 30 years of expertise, The Mergis Group is a specialty recruiting firm committed to helping professionals make the best career choices.
