Job Description : Principal Process Engineer is responsible for the front-end design of refinery units and unit operations including crude/vacuum distillation, hydroprocessing, resid processing, FCC, and light ends processing. Independently conducts technical and economic studies, and prepares process designs and specifications of onsite, offsite, and utility systems. Develops heat and material balances, process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), system design parameters, and design or rating of equipment such as vessels, towers, exchangers, pumps, etc. Responsibility includes the development of process simulation models and advanced controls/process optimization for part or units of the total plant using commercial software.xurs16x : : EOE M/F/D/V
