Our ideal candidate will conduct structural analysis of developmental systems and components for aerospace applications. The candidate will prepare reports and briefing packages to document analysis results. Good communication skills are required. Some travel is anticipated in order to support testing activities, technical reviews and meetings. Candidate must have a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering background with knowledge and experience in finite element analysis. A bachelor degree is sufficient, but an advanced degree is preferred. The candidate must be well versed in the use of finite element codes such as Abaqus or ANSYS. Experienced with structural, thermostructural, static, and dynamic analyses is required. The candidate should also have experience conducting aerothermal and thermal response analyses.
