Its broadband satellite products are based on the IPoS (IP over Satellite) global standard, approved by the TIA, ETSI, and ITU standards organizations.Power Supply Engineer**please no entry level graduates/applicants Actively participate in embedded board level hardware design of commercial-embedded SOCs and discrete circuits into a low-cost, high-volume telematics product Design, develop, integrate, and test hardware and software components and interface control verification Perform unit test, subsystem and system integration, and design verification tests Prepare test procedures and the test environment to verify the functionality and introduce new devices into production and customer environments Qualifications MSEE or BSEE required, as well as 2-6 years experience in hardware design. Communications background preferred. Candidate must have expertise in design and implementation of communication or infotainment system products using state-of-the-art design technologies and architectures. Experience in embedded board level hardware design including one or more of the following: Advanced microprocessor, Cellular, GPS, SDARS, WiFi, Bluetooth, RF, Audio, DC/DC converters, CAN and Discrete I/O. Experience in automotive product design and development. Requires demonstrated ability to complete projects on schedule, and ability to develop new component and subsystem specifications and standards, contribute to discussions, and communicate results.Position may be located at either our Germantown, MD headquarters facility or our Lakeforest facility in Gaithersburg, MD.
