Our client is a Global Chemicals Manufacturer seeking a Project Engineer. This is a regional corpoarate engineering position exclusively supporting thier Louisiana plant. The Project Engineer will have responsibility for large capital projects ($1 MM) from scope definition assistance through cost estimation, design, and installation. This will also involve contract labor management and scheduling/coordinating with the on-site plant engineer. The Project Engineer will also serve as a consultant to the in-plant engineering personnel with regard to best practices, completing WCM based technical analysis and providing expertise in project implementation practices.

Requirements:
B.S. Chemical or Mechanical Engineer
2+ years experience, Project Engineer in a Chemical Manufacturing Company
or 5+ years Project Engineering in a related business along with working knowledge of chemical processing equipment
Experience managing or motivating contract labor and mechanics
