Our growth is a direct result of our commitment to quality design, technological innovation, and client service. Watershed Concepts, a division of HSMM, specializes in water resource management. Our services emphasize the development and use of advanced Geographical Information Systems methodologies and customized software applications in the fields of floodplain analysis, stormwater management, and surface water quality. Watershed Concepts is searching for a Project Manager to: to perform and/or learn a diverse range of responsibilities, from project management to marketing, and to work independently. Workload would include projects ranging from water resources engineering, county-wide FEMA Flood Insurance Studies to riverine and coastal investigations and watershed analyses. Experience with specific riverine and coastal floodplain mapping processes including QA/QC and compilation of FIS deliverables are preferred. Responsibilities include performing engineering and project management duties for a variety of clients and managing multi-disciplinary teams for FEMA flood studies, stormwater, and water resources projects. Job Requirements: 4-year degree in Civil Engineering, Registration as a Professional Engineer (and ability to become registered in other Western states)  Minimum of 7 or more years of relevant experience in hydraulics, hydrology, GIS, and water resources related work. Experience with HEC-1, HEC-HMS, HEC-2, HEC-RAS, NWS DAMBRK, FESWM, or SWMM. Strong organizational abilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work well with clients and internal staff. Other Required: Knowledge of FEMA mapping program. Marketing skills (client calls, conference presentations). Detailed knowledge of GIS technology including ArcHydro. Detailed knowledge of CADD programs (MicroStation or AutoCAD). Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM)  or the ability to obtain certification. Willingness to travel occassionally. EEO M/F/D/V  hydraulics
