PLC Programmer/Controls Engineer

PLC PROGRAMMER/CONTROLS ENGINEERResponsibilities:1)    Designing, implementing, troubleshooting and maintaining PLC control systems for client projects using multiple platforms: ALLEN BRADLEY MicroLogix, SLC 500, ControlLogix, and SIEMENS Simatic PCS7 including both hardware and software.2)    Designing and implementing HMI devices including ALLEN BRADLEY PanelView, PanelViewPlus, RSView 32, RSViewStudio.3)    Develop, implement, document and maintain communications utilizing DH+, DH485, Ethernet, DeviceNet, and ControlNet, etc.4)    Designing and documenting with CAD software programs, MS Office Suite including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ADOBE Acrobat.5)    Assist in writing specifications, selecting, programming and configuring all types of control components for systems including temperature (RTD and TC), pressure, flow (meters and valves), level, conductivity, pH, speed (VFD), proximity, and other transmitters, instruments and control devices.6)    Develop, design, read, write and edit Process and Instrument Diagrams (P&ID), electrical schematic diagrams, functional descriptions and specifications used in the design and implementation of control systems. 7)    Designing and building control panels, cable trays, conduit runs, motor control centers, motor starters, VFD speed controls, etc.8)    Directing and coordinating the construction, testing, installation, commissioning, maintenance, documentation, and support of customer control systems.Requirements:1)    BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a sufficient number of years of experience in industry which would provide an equivalent education, knowledge and ability.2)    Knowledge and experience in programming PLC controllers, communication networks, instrumentation, VFD controllers, motor controls, relay logic, and other types of controls.3)    High proficiency in verbal and written skills in English language, reading and writing technical instructions, manuals and documents. Multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as our company is involved in projects worldwide.4)    Experience with AutoCAD (PC), PowerCAD (MAC) or other CAD software programs. Must have ability to create, read and edit CAD drawings. 5)    Willingness to travel 35 - 50% of time in a worldwide market.
