Natural Resources Practice Leader - Western US
This is a great step-up opportunity. Our client is a national leader in environmental and engineering consulting. We are seeking a leader for the Natural Resources team in the Western US. This position will be based in CA. The Natural Resources team is 60+ good people, in 4 offices. The team provides environmental planning and permitting support for clients in energy, transportation, railroads, power plants and diverse public and private projects. This department is $15 M and growing. You will be leading the technical practice and spearheading business development growth, primarily selling services to existing clients. Position Requirements B.S. and/or M.S. degree in Environmental Studies, Biology, or related field Proven knowledge of U.S. environmental law and resource protection principles Knowledge and experience in CEQA, NEPA, ESA, CESA, and CWA BD and client management leadership experience, EIRs and EISs Experience working with regulatory agencies Outstanding writing, editing, and communications skills
