Mine Water Treatment Senior Engineer
Senior level civil or mining engineer to manage our mining consulting practice. Eight or more years experience in mining industry applications for the physical, chemical, and passive treatment of process and mining-impacted wastewaters. You have a strong technical or consulting background along with substantial wastewater and mine site remediation experience. We have a large and successful practice with a huge backlog of work, including international projects. This consulting practice focuses on water treatment facilities, process engineering and evaluation of design alternatives including dynamic modeling. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proven project or program management experience, prior business development experience, and ability to travel are also required.
Required Skills: Civil engineer or mining engineer. Eight + years experience in a consulting engineering firm doing wastewater and remediation for mining clients. You will also be knowledgeable regarding environmental impact analysis, and permitting; auditing and optimizing existing operations, developing and implementing reclamation and closure plans, due diligence and acquisition support services as well as conducting resource evaluations and mine planning. Knowledge of federal, state and local mining laws such as NEPA, SMARA, CEQA and applicable CAA and CWA regulations are a must along with active industry involvement and participation.
