CAS has a near-future requirement for a Strategic Planner/Analyst to the USAMS effort in Omaha, NE. Support on this contract is on a bid basis and supports ongoing efforts on this contract. Skills needed include experience providing support in one of USSTRATCOM's Mission Areas (Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction, Information Operations (including Cyber Operations), Nuclear Deterrence, Global Command and Control, Integrated Missile Defense, Space Operations, Global Strike, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance, Computer Network Operations, and Strategic Deterrence. Skills are also needed from candidates with the ability to provide planning, coordination, and integration to USSTRATCOM positions with DoD, Services, and other COCOMs. Candidate must possess proficient writing and briefing skills with appropriate expertise in MSOffice suite of software. This work will also support JOPES planning, POM development, training and exercise support, and JCIDS analysis. Our ideal candidate has Joint, Service, or COCOM staff experience required and USSTRATCOM experience highly preferred. Support on a major weapons system (F-15, B-1, AEGIS, PATRIOT, etc.) preferred. Intermediate service school or NCO Academy preferred. DOD or Agency service is preferred. All: BS preferred; experience may substitute for formal education. Preferred disciplines: Math, Science, Engineering, Computer Networks, Military Studies.
