Job Description Mechanical Engineers Experienced and Senior level Mechanical Engineers…Join us!Our Kansas City office is seeking highly motivated and qualified project engineers for our mechanical groups in the following areas: Aviation/Facilities: Aircraft Fueling- Experience w/ industrial piping systems and equipment including pumps, valves, storage tanks and accessories. System hydraulics and piping stress analysis. Familiarity w/ fuel receipt, storage and dispensing systems preferred. Please apply to IRC270. HVAC- Responsible for performing Central Plant, HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection design on various projects. Prepare estimates proposals. Progressive design and project management responsibilities. Provide leadership, guidance and instruction to less experienced staff members. Meet and interact with client. Some marketing responsibilities. Please apply to IRC305 and IRC3570. Energy: Detailed design and EPC of Simple Cycle, Combined Cycle, and Coal fired plants. Requires power generation exp. for gas turbine based combined cycle plant design. Pipe stress analysis experience a plus. Please apply to IRC214 and IRC215. Infrastructure: Water and wastewater experience preferred, but will train HVAC, plumbing design, piping or metal finishing experience. Please apply to IRC348. Process and Industrial: Seeking Lead Sr. Engineer for Fire and Heater/Refining Industry project. In addition, seeking a 5-7 year ME w/ progressive HVAC engineering experience, preferably in consulting or design build environment executing food process and or pharmaceutical / biotechnology projects. Piping Engineer / Pipe Stress Engineer: Our Piping Engineer works functionally under the direction of the Piping Chief Engineer and, for projects, the Piping Lead or Sr. Project Piping Engineer. Responsible for selecting piping, valves and components based on design conditions and established material selection criteria. Capable of preparing and reviewing piping specifications and valve data sheets. Performs stress analysis. Minimum of 7 -10 years of experience in engineering performing piping engineering and analysis. Should be knowledgeable of applicable industry standards for piping and components (ASME, ASTM, B31.3, B31.1, ASME Section VIII, etc.), familiar with valve standards. Thorough knowledge of one or more current Stress Analysis programs (e.g. Caesar, AutoPipe, Triflex). Please apply to IRC268. All jobs require BSME degree and EIT, PE preferred.
