Mechanical Engineer IV
We currently have an exceptional opportunity in our Chicago Office for an MECHANICAL ENGINEER IV to join our Critical Facilities Team .MAJOR ACTIVITIES: Critical Facilities Experience PreferredMust be able to interface with clients and attend meetings • Work in close contact with the entire design team •Master company drawing organization format & drawing standards • Provide engineering support for Senior engineering staff • Be a responsible representative of the company in all interactions with clients, contractors and design coordination between other project membersREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Ability : to communicate well with Architect/Client • produce drawings consistent with instruction, guidelines and standards • conduct field visits and write field observation reports • write technical reports • conduct due diligence reports under supervision of Senior Engineer/Designer • write engineering proposals for small projects standards • available to work overtime to meet project deadlines REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: • Bachelor Degree from accredited university in Mechanial discipline PE (strongly preferred) Relevant Experience: • 5+ years of relevant experience in the Mechanical fields CAD Proficiency: • Proficiency Auto CAD ADT 2004 and design and calculation software; MS Office Suite See Job Description
