Mechanical Engineer / Designers

1) Mechanical Project Engineer - Immediate opportunity for a Mechanical Project Engineer with experience in fluid handling and lubrication development.  Requires hands-on design experience with production and manufacturing.  Position involves project responsibility from concept through project completion.  Requires experience with Pro-E Wildfire, and thorough knowledge of design methodology and analysis.

Principal Activities/Duties:
-Participate as a member or leader of a new product development design team.
-Create and maintain project schedules and manage project to meet schedules.
-Produce conceptual designs
-Creation of detailed design drawings
-Analysis of design to applicable standards
-Analysis of design using engineering analysis tools
-Define and lead prototype development and lab and field tests
-Work with manufacturing on process development
-Participate in release for sale activities
-Provide periodic oral and written reports of project status
-Conduct design reviews, safety reviews...

Administer personnel reviews, salary plans and employee development plans Supervise and give work direction to direct reports which includes technicians, designers, and engineers
Provide on-going employee training and development
As required, participate in recruitment and selection of personnel
Determine customer requirements

Perform standard product support activities such as:
-Analyzing and writing Engineering Change Orders for products
-Troubleshooting product problems in manufacturing

Essential Qualifications:
-BS or MS degree in engineering with 5+ years experience in new product development
-Ability to plan and lead product development projects
-Ability to select, supervise, and develop personnel
-Professional engineering registration (EIT/PE)
-Experience with fluid handling equipment design and development

2) Mechanical Designer - Mechanical designer for support of new product development. Requires 2 year AS degree in mechanical design, and  prefer 5 to 7 + years experience with parts design, modeling and documentation using Pro Engineer / Wildfire. Prefer experience in design and layout of plastic injection molded parts, castings, tooling, and purchased parts, and working with outside vendors and suppliers. Requires Solid Wildfire skills,  and experience with BOM and PDM documentation. Requires excellent documentation skills, tolerancing experience, strength of materials, and ability to work in fast paced development environment. Experience with surfacing is a plus.
