Currently, they are actively seeking a Mechanical Engineer (PE highly preferred) to help them establish a base market in the area. You will be able to earn a living while you build the market. Our client will also reward you well for the work you bring into the firm, as you will be given a significant portion of the profits from the projects you bring to the firm.· As you grow the market, you will be given the opportunity to open a full service MEP office, complete with staff. At that point, you will be offered ownership - up to 20% in the company. What our client needs you to bring to the table: Â· Strong business knowledge of the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing market in the Greater Phoenix market. This includes business contacts, knowledge of local codes and procedures, and entrepreneurial spirit in order to help the company flourish.· Ability to develop business in the Phoenix market. Our client focuses on educational, retail, commercial office and healthcare projects, so contacts in those industries are preferred. However, any new business that you can obtain while establishing the firm's presence is great.· Thorough engineering knowledge. Our client realizes that establishing its presence in a new market is a time consuming task, and they realize it will take additional time to bring work into the office. Small projects that you obtain will be your responsibility - you will handle the design, drafting and PM work.  Larger projects will allow you to utilize the support staff in the corporate office. · Strong AutoCAD knowledge and BIM exposure. Our client is already in process of moving to BIM, so the right candidate will already have knowledge and some use of the program.· A Business Mentality, Personality, Image and Approach. This position requires a degree in Mechanical Engineering, PE registration, and local Phoenix exposure. Our client is ready to back the right candidate once they find him/her.
