Mechanical Engineer (281536-777)

Description



Has a full working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) building systems, experienced performing a wide variety of technical review and evaluations of programming, concept, schematics, construction documents and specifications, and proficient in MEP design. Makes recommendations to COTR on proposed design and construction documents to minimize errors and omissions in the documents.

Performs requirements set forth in the Statement of Work and Schedule of Required Services to include but not limited to:Review and coordination of programming, concept, schematic, construction and cost estimate documentsReview of AEP architectural and engineering designsWriting of in-house specificationsReview of AEP specificationsReview of Government Bid DocumentsReview and evaluation of AEP and construction contractor scheduleConstruction Adminstration activitiesRisk Management Assessments and services Required Skills

Must have active Top Secret security clearanceRequired Experience



Experience shall be balanced in professional design and construction assignments involving field engineering and supervision assignments, cost estimating and scheduling and full-charge project management duties and responsibilities.

Minimum BS in Mechanical Engineering and 15 years professional engineering experience.
