Mechanical Drafter/Designer

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING DESIGNER-DRAFTSMAN

 

This position will be responsible for working with our engineering team in creating 3D CAD models, detailed engineering drawings using SolidWorks, creating Bills of Material and updating technical documentation.

 

 Skill set:

 

1.        Minimum 2-5 years experience in manufacturing with working knowledge of SolidWorks, PDM-Works

 

2.        Knowledge of ANSI Y14.5 Standard Dimensioning and Tolerancing is required 

 

3.        Experience with  Engineering Change Orders

 

4.        Configuration Management experience preferred and is a plus

 

5.        Knowledge of AutoCAD  is helpful but not required

 

6.        Candidate must be detail oriented, accurate, able to work independently with minimum supervision and must be able to meet deadlines

 

7.        Strong communication skills with department managers, quality and vendors

 

8.        B.S. Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology preferred or equivalent work experience
