The HVAC Design Engineer will work in close collaboration with fellow design specialists, and will be assigned Project Manager responsibilities on a job-by-job basis.

Responsibilities:

Design HVAC systems in collaboration with fellow engineers and drafters for commercial, industrial, and residential construction projects For designated projects, serve as Project Manager and organize the efforts of the design team; liaise between company Principals and design team Communicate with clients over the phone, through presentations, and in meetings to manage, communicate, and review project timelines and specifics

Requirements:BS in Mechanical Engineering 5 + years relevant experience Professional Engineering (PE) License strongly preferred AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience strongly preferred Ability to thrive in a service-based industry, including excellent presentation and communication skills Adaptability with regard to evolving timelines and deadlines and ability to work on multiple design projects simultaneously Positive attitude and willingness to participate in a collaborative design process Light travel (rarely overnight) to construction sites
