For the Manufacturing Project Engineer position mentioned, This is a contract position with a possible extension. Requirements are below:
Responsibilities:
* Lead Multiple Manufacturing Projects including the Identification, Selection, and Successful Transfer of new equipment into production.
* Ability to perform Project Management functions (schedule development, tracking, and developing relevant documentation)
Duties:
* Review prints for specifications and quality standards and convert processes into documentation, tooling, and gauges needed to economically produce quality parts.
* Evaluate new processes and equipment and perform capital equipment justification analysis
* Confer with production concerning the processing plans and tooling to reduce costs, and ensure efficient production methods by spending time on the floor and understanding existing problems and methods.
* Monitor new developments
* Requires at minimum, working knowledge of various pieces of large equipment including CNC controls, gauges and operating principles.
Requirements:
* Bachelor Degree in BSME, MSIE, MS Ind. Tech with minimum of 7 years of experience
* or Associate Degree and minimum of 15 years of experience
* Must be able to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, customer specifications and blueprints
* Must be able to effectively communicate with managers, customers, and other employees
* Technical Skills: CNC Programming, Project Management, working knowledge of AutoCad/Solidworks, APQP and PPAP process and methodologies,.
* Knowledge and Familiar with GD&T Metallurgy, applicable ISO 9000, and quality systems.
