The American Gasket and Rubber Company, a world leader in the manufacture of rubber and plastic dispenser gaskets, is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer.

This is a dynamic position for an intelligent, adaptive and innovative Process Engineer that will report to the Plant Manager. The individual will handle a broad range of responsibilities in assisting various departments in the company. This role calls for someone that is innovative in their approach - can evaluate a challenge, develop options to overcome the challenge and implement the solution. The ability to multi-task and prioritize is critical.

 

Requirements:

 

1) Have previous punch press, die and tooling development experience

2)  Must be willing to be extremely hands on and mechanically inclined

3) Understand mixing, calendering of rubber is a plus

4) Must have a strong Quality background; FMEA, root cause analysis, training, statistical analysis, and process development

5) Must have prior experience solving problems using lean tools

6) Rubber Injection molding knowledge is a plus

7) 5(+) years of experience with progressive process improvement

8) Strong written and analytical skills

9) B.S. degree in an applicable field or equivalent experience
