Manager of Electrical Design
Manager (Manager/Supervisor of Staff) Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Job Title: Manager of Electrical Design Position: Reporting to the Director of Engineering for a leading international technology company operating in the field of process engineering and plant contracting. The company is meeting the increased demand for alternative energy solutions and looking for an experienced Professional Engineer with management experience. Will be responsible for deliverables within project timelines and budgets, manage expectations and develop the direction for project completion within engineering section, evaluate and develop staff, improving standard operational procedures, providing technical leadership, develop presentations of concepts and process for clients. Challenge is to improve overall quality of projects and decrease completion timeframes. Background Required: Technical hands on design (5 years)· Management and Staff Development (3 years)· PE license · Computer literate: Microsoft Office Suite· Education: College Graduate - BS Electrical Engineering· Location: Memphis, TN (relocation assistance)· Industrial Plant Design (not commercial/hospital) (5 years)· NEC Codes: OSHA, NFC, IEEE· 3D Modeling Environment (Preferably Integraph PDS/Raceway) Background Preferred (but not required):· Ethanol, Biodiesel or petrochemical (5 years)· Project scheduling development Other Essential Abilities and Skills:· Results driven· Team player (operates through consensus)· Promotes team effectiveness· Business acumen· High energy & persistent Compensation Structure:· Base salary: $90,000 to $120,000· Bonus up to 20% at Target of base · Allowances: Laptop and cell phone provided
