Your Ingenuity is welcome! Under general direction, supports the global security business with technical, industry, and sales expertise to capture and execute major projects and global accounts. 1. Works with the Global Regional Management Teams and Country/Branch Managers to support sales efforts on large scale bids, including formulating responses to RFI, RFP, and tender documentation. 2. Recommends product solutions and links to client objectives to total value solution and competitive advantage. Differentiates and leverages Johnson Controls product offerings from competitors based on the total benefit of doing business with Johnson Controls. 3. Works with the Systems and Security Sales Force by representing security product and technology offerings during technical presentations to end customers on major opportunities. 4. Coordinates with external vendors to ensure current product compliancy with bid specifications. 5. Works with global sales and operations teams to support and inform on core security product offerings. 6. Assists Security channel account Sales to resolve customer difficulties, and acts as liaison with Technical Support and Engineering to work towards a positive resolution of problems. 7. Cultivates and develops strategic relationships with key end customers, and works with account Sales representatives to ensure customer satisfaction. 8. Works with the Controls Group Technology (Product Management) to research and maintain up-to-date information on current and future technology, on both core and 3rd party product. 9. Informs and trains sales on the features, value, and advantages of our product offerings and ensures they have the appropriate sales collateral. 10. Works with the Controls Group Technology (Product Management and Engineering) organization to provide feedback for product and feature enhancements and customer requirements. 11. Provides competitive analysis of local marketplace and obtains assistance for technical expertise, sales assistance and market development activities. 12. Participates in industry, customer, and product trade shows. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience. 10-12 years of Business experience in a high tech industry with demonstrated track record of success. Able to relate to people at all levels (including executives within our customers' organizations), communicating both on a technical and non-technical basis. Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Possesses excellent presentation skills and proficiency at making one on one and group presentations. Able to travel a minimum of 35%. SPECIAL SKILLS DESIRED: · Physical Security Professional (PSP) and/or Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certifications · Strong technical background in security technologies and IT systems · Product Proposal Writing experience · Systems-level product sales experience · Product Localization Experience · Technical Product Demonstration Ability · Security Product Integration Experience · Technical Training · Direct Customer Support experience
