Manager, Facility Engineering
Lead all aspects of Manufacturing Engineering which includes design of machining processes and cells, assembly line layout and material replenishment, design and/or procurement of tools, fixtures and gauging to ensure part quality and effective end of line testing, capital planning and Facility Maintenance.
Lead all aspects Facility Maintenance which includes preventative maintenance, management of all utilities and the maintenance of all matters concerning environmental regulation compliance and reporting.

* Design efficient and sustainable manufacturing processes which ensure optimal quality, cost and lead time. This includes being actively involved in DFMA.
* Develop and maintain a capital plan which includes the generation and submission of Capital Expense Requests aimed at keeping the plant abreast of advances in technology and best industry practices in safety and environment.
* Ensure manufacturing process documentation is complete and up to date including Plant Layouts, Operator Instruction Sheets, Routings, PFMEA's, etc.
* Ensure that Process performance metrics are complete and up to date including MTTR (Mean Time To Repair), MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure), other cell efficiency metrics, etc.
* Interface with Product Engineering to ensure Feasibility and to optimize product design for manufacturability and assembly on new and existing products.
* Develop and Mentor Manufacturing Engineers, Supervisors and Floor Maintenance personnel to function at a world class level
* Implement plans to reduce energy and utility consumption and cost.
* Maintain environmental standards and mandatory reporting required by state and federal regulations as well as meet corporate requirements.
* Continuous improvement in all aspects of facility management including construction, roof, HVAC and waste systems.
* Coordinate Insurance Compliance, certification and inspection of fire protection systems.
* Drive ISO14000 Certification

Minimum level of formal education and work experience: Machining, Lean Six Sigma, Change Management, Capital Procurement, Business Acumen, Environmental Compliance, Preventative Maintenance
