Major manufacturer of custom air handling products, seeks a Technical Service Manager

Energy Labs, Inc., a major manufacturer of custom air handling products, seeks a Technical Service Manager.   The key responsibilities of this position are as follows:

- Manage proper equipment start-up either in person or through authorized service contractors

- Manage warranty repairs and authorize warranty work in the field

- Diagnose and solve equipment problems, either in person or by working with individuals on site via phone or email - Provide training and oversight of factory- and factory-authorized service personnel

- Provide regular detailed feedback to the QA, Manufacturing and Engineering Departments to support the company's continuous improvement initiatives

The successful applicant will have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience working with air handling and packaged DX equipment, and must have a strong working knowledge of components and systems including fans, compressors, coils, pumps, dampers, gas and electric heaters, heat recovery devices, humidifiers, filtration, electrical systems, and controls.  In addition, a working knowledge of air handling applications including VAV, Make-Up Air, Economizer and Minimum Outside Air, and other control strategies is highly desirable.  A mechanical or electrical engineering degree is also highly desirable. 

Energy Labs, Inc. is a fast growing company with manufacturing in Tijuana Mexico and engineering offices in Portland, OR and Minneapolis, MN. Significant travel will be required.
