Maintenance Mechanic 2nd Shift

This position is responsible to troubleshoot and perform necessary maintenance on production machinery, including CNC equipment, to ensure safe, efficient operation.  Also performs preventive maintenance following an established program.  Requests appropriate parts and supplies, and keeps accurate records as required.

May perform basic building and grounds maintenance, as needed, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry, hydraulics, pneumatics, and/or work on the evaporator and compressors.

 
Experience and Skills:


Technical certification in mechanical machine repair, electronics, CNC repair, or related certification required.  Machine trades training desired.  2-4 years industrial maintenance experience in machine repair, including experience in CNC repair, required.  Basic skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry, hydraulics, and pneumatics desired.  Forklift certification desired.  Physical requirements include working in a manufacturing setting, ability to perform overhead work with both hands as needed, required lifting often up to 70 pounds, and the ability to climb ladders as needed.
