Maintenance Helper

This position may have incumbents performing duties at levels N3 or N4. Duties at each level vary in complexity, level of responsibility, and skills/experience.Level N3Incumbent must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent + 1 year related experience. In addition, the incumbent must be able to demonstrate the ability to perform a combination of routine tasks requiring some independent judgment and discretion.Level N4Incumbent must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent + 2 years related experience. In addition, the incumbent must be able to demonstrate the ability to perform a combination of routine tasks requiring some independent judgment and discretion. Job Description : Supports the Maintenance Department by performing a variety of general manual labor tasks for a 24-hour chemical demilitarization operation such as assisting skilled maintenance trades by keeping materials supplied to the work site, assisting technicians with labor intensive tasks, performing carpentry duties and painting operations, and cleaning the work areas, machinery and equipment. Duties in this position are physical in nature and require incumbent to lift 50 pounds overhead. : :
