Machine Department Manager

A contract manufacturer of precision components is seeking an individual to manage its multispindle cam machine department. The candidate must have experience in setup and operation of multispindle automatic screw machines. Also have the ability to troubleshoot and identify problems with tooling and machines. Must be able to read and interpret complex blueprints and use precision inspection equipment. The individual will be familiar with various machine attachments, such as threadrolling, polymilling, and tapping.

This position requires close interaction with our engineering department. Any experience in special tool acquisition, machine layout, process improvement and the Euroturn machine tool is a huge plus.

The position is a working foreman with main responsibilities being setup, troubleshooting, machine maintenance and repair, and department efficiencies. The candidate must be able to work well and communicate with others.
