Lead Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical/Commissioning Engineer Main Duties: Act as the liasion for Commissioning services for private and governmental owners, designers, contractors, developers and attorneys on a wide range of building, plant,hospital, environmental and utilities projects. Skills: Commissioning experience preferred includes trouble-shooting existing HVAC and temperature control problems, offering input for saving energy, writing commissioning specification, and participating in functional performance testing of HVAC systems. Report writing, client coordination, and carrying out assignments from conception to completion. Able to identify potential problems and derive recommended solutions from past experiences. Capable of providing lead role in managing small to mid-size projects and/or leading a sub-group on a large project. Education and Knowledge: A minimum of 10-15 yrs. of experience with the design and/or installation of mechanical systems, automatic temperature control systems, functional performance testing of HVAC systems.BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and other relevant certifications preferred.Overall understanding of building construction McDonough Bolyard Peck is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
