DescriptionFive Star Quality Care, Inc. operates independent living, assisted living and retirement communties, as well as skilled nursing, rehabilitation facilities throughout the United States. We are seeking a Lead Engineer for communites in Indiana and the position will be based out of Vincennes at our Fox Ridge Manor location.Requirements: Education: HVAC or electrical technical school training or equivalent experience required Experience:Experience with computerized preventive maintenance and work order systemsExperience with the operating and maintenance of older buildings and systemsFamiliarity with various regulations affecting building mechanical operations, including OSHA Right to Know and Lock Out/Tag Out Refrigeration or electrical license preferred Responsibilities: Responsible for the overall management and operation of the mechanical, life/safety, electrical and plumbing operations for the commercial buildings under his direction. Responsible for the supervision of all engineers, building engineers and other on site mechanical and maintenance staff that directly report to him. Manage the flow and schedule of maintenance and repair projects. Participate with the Area Chief Engineer in developing and managing projects, such as upgrading mechanical systems and capital improvements.General and Administrative: Train and supervise the engineers and other on site mechanical and maintenance staff.Oversee the coordination of all technical service providersRequired SkillsRefrigeration or electrical license preferredHVAC experience requiredRequired Experience2-5 years of direct experince int maintenace of mechanical, electdrical and plumbing sytems for commericial buildings
