This position will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and the efficient operation of all building HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and other systems. Supervise, direct, and evaluate all trades persons assigned to him/her to ensure quality workmanship and high work standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
We have an immediate opening for a Lead Engineer in Washington, DC with a minimum of 3 to 6 years experience in the following areas: Supervision of the engineering staff, and all equipment including central plant/chiller, electrical, emergency power systems, energy management, general repairs, package units, pneumatic controls, water treatment, fire life safety, the ability to perform all aspects of HVAC repair.
Qualifications: -- A Maryland 1st or DC 3rd class steam engineers license and EPA Certification (608) Universal is required, knowledge of UPS, generators and experience with working in critical environments is also required
