Lead Electrical Engineer (2 Position)Location: Midland, TX (Western Texas – Near New Mexico)Direct Hire (No Contractors Please)Salary Range - Competitive Salary with comprehensive benefits!We will not rule out based on Salary - Actual salary will be based on skills and experience.Relocation Package Available Summary:The Lead Electrical Engineer will work with Project Managers, Engineering Manager, and other engineering staff and technicians, clients, vendors and regulatory agencies on assigned projects. Responsibilities will include design, implementation, and improvement of electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for gas processing facilitates.   This position provides supervision and direction for the Design engineering department.  Be an Engineering implementer for a small growing company. If you love to be a well rounded engineer then this is the opportunity for you! Responsibilities:Managerial: Work with management and cross departmentally to ensure compliance of various regulatory requirements.  Supervise the departments and maintain coverage during absences. Report and make recommendations to management for improvements in methods and procedures to ensure continuous improvement. Departmental:Direct and coordinate specification, purchasing, construction, installation, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes and client requirements. Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.  Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.  Plan and implement methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects. Plan layout of electrical power distribution within processing facilities Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.  Conduct field surveys and study maps, graphs, diagrams, and other data to identify and correct power system problems. Develop budgets, estimate labor, material and construction costs. Oversee project production efforts to assure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time and within budget. Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment. Supervise and train project team members as necessary. Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
