Junior to Mid Level Highway Design Engineer Needed!!!

 

A multi-disciplined engineering firm located in Northern New Castle County, DE is currently looking for a Junior to Mid Level Highway Design Engineer.  Our client specializes in highway and transportation projects.  This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

 

• BS degree in Civil Engineering.

• The successful candidate will have 3-5 years experience in highway projects.

• An Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is preferred and PE is a plus.

• Successful candidate will be responsible for highway engineering design, plans production, studies and reports for public sector projects.

• Additional assignments could include all civil elements of highway design, as well as drainage design, utilities, permits, specifications, and cost estimating.

• Candidate should be familiar with Microstation, Geopak, InRoads, and/or AutoCADD.

• Must have the ability to organize and handle multiple project assignments. 

• Experience with DelDOT projects is a plus, however any prior DOT knowledge and experience would work.

• Working knowledge of AASHTO Green Book is preferred.

• Must have excellent communication skills.
