Junior Level Traffic Engineer
Junior Level Traffic Engineer
We currently have a career opportunity for a junior level Traffic Engineer to work in the Western Dauphin County, PA area. Position includes competitive salary and benefit package. This is an excellent opportunity to join a, dynamic, growing organization.
Requirements:
• BS degree in Civil Engineering with 0-3 years of practical experience.
• EIT license with experience in traffic/highway design.
• Tasks will include but not limited to preparation of traffic impact studies, feasibility assessments, corridor studies, intersection analyses, access and circulation studies, design and preparation of HOP permit plans, traffic signal design, maintenance of traffic plans preparation and preparation of pavement and signing plans.
• Proficiency of MS Office, AutoCAD or Microstation required.
• Working knowledge of HCS, SYNCHRO, Simtraffic, Autoturn, Guidsign and Asidra is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with PennDOT/Federal standards and procedures is desired.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
