Function Summary:

The Director of Product Engineering coordinates all engineering operations for new and existing products within the company. This person will ensure that products are designed or enhanced, in order to meet quality and sales objectives.

Responsiblities:

Recommends changes, reviews progress, and approves cost estimates or proposals.

Works as a team member to set up and maintain suppliers of new products.

Establishes policy within the company regarding product development and design.

Education/Experience:

Position requires a 4 year degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, and at least 5 years of technical management experience, or equivalent.
