Human Resources Representative

GZA’s energetic HR Department looking for a new team member! Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Administration of Health, Dental, Life, LTD, STD, AD&D insurance policies and transportation subsidy for eligible employees
• COBRA administration
• Leave of absence coordination
• Attend job fairs, coordinate advertising, test, interview, and refer candidates for hire, check references
• Conduct Orientations -- communicate company policy, procedure, and
benefits structure
• Maintain confidential personnel files -- database and paper
• Coordinate and run open enrollments - health, dental, 401(k), Section 125
• Compute and reconcile monthly insurance billings
• Process new-hires and terminations
• Compose offer letters, memos and other employee communication
• Compile various reports using HRIS database and Excel spreadsheets
• Conduct exit interviews
• Maintain system for document control including original paper and electronic documents for benefits, procedures, policies and other Functional documents; maintain paper file systems and manage the electronic archive on the company intranet site and shared drive
• Coordinate high-volume, time-sensitive workflow to secure approvals for salary changes, internal and external hiring offers, rehires and relocation requests, etc.
• Conduct compliance audits to validate compliance, posting requirements, I-9 review, employee file and benefit file review
• Respond to day-to-day issues that require human resources intervention, evaluation, or processing. Depending on the level of systems access provided, ensure that all company representatives are engaged appropriately:
• Comply with all federal and state employment and labor laws and regulations
Qualifications Include:
· 1-3 years' experience providing human resources support in an environment of changing priorities/activities
· Bachelors’ degree required
· Proficient competence with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, PowerPoint and Access a plus
· Present Professionally at all times, including a calm, competent customer focused composure under stress
· Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and handle changing priorities
· Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, demanding environment
· Strong analytical capability to work with data, procedure and work flow process
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Dedicated/focused/independent individual committed to providing high-level customer service
· Must possess exemplary organizational skills and attention to detail
· Must be capable of starting and completing tasks and projects independently
· Ability to demonstrate good judgment while handling information of a confidential nature
