Kleinfelder?s Bellevue, Washington office is seeking a Risk Assessment and Toxicology Professional. The successful candidate will be a mid- to upper-mid-level environmental health risk assessment professional with four to eight years of increasing responsibility in the preparation of environmental health risk assessments. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, performing human health risk assessments in accordance with EPA guidelines and other state regulatory programs; oversight of small- to medium-sized risk assessment projects; participation in project strategy; data management, analysis, interpretation, and presentation; technical review; budget tracking; client/regulatory interaction; providing support and guidance to site investigation teams; and writing risk assessment reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines. Must be proficient in database and spreadsheet programs (preferably Microsoft Access and Excel), be detail-oriented and have excellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of fate and transport models and environmental statistics is a plus. Candidates must possess initiative, and the ability to work well in a multi-disciplinary environment. Qualifications: M.S. or Ph.D. in pharmacology/toxicology/life sciences. Four to eight years of experience performing human health risk assessments. DABT or similar credential desired.Qualifications3 - 6 years of related experience; or 2 years related experience with MS or 0 years experience with PhD. Certifications or registrations as available by profession. Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint required. Oracle experience preferred.
