Human Health Risk Assessor Junior to Mid-Level

We offer competitive compensation and benefits, and a bonus-incentive program. Tetra Tech is seeking a junior- to mid-level risk assessor to support large-scale federal and state projects. Candidate will be responsible for compiling, evaluating, and analyzing chemical data to be used in human health risk assessments (HHRA) and preparing risk calculations for HHRAs. Other responsibilities include supporting statistical comparisons of site and background data, calculation of exposure point concentrations, selection of exposure assumptions, compilation of toxicity criteria, and HHRA document organization and preparation. Five years minimum experience in risk assessment and environmental consulting or related experience required. Detailed understanding of U.S. EPA risk assessment guidance and tools needed; understanding of State of California and Department of Defense risk assessment guidance also preferred. Candidate must also have OSHA HAZWOPER certification, experience with soil, groundwater, and soil gas sample collection, and experience developing sampling and analysis plans. Candidate must be able to support multiple projects and quickly change focus from one project to another. Occasional travel to support sampling for projects may be needed.Five years minimum experience in risk assessment and environmental consulting or related experience required.
