HCI is located in Harborside Financial Center, along the Hudson River in Jersey City, NJ, across from lower Manhattan. Our office is steps from the PATH trains, NYC ferry and the Light Rail. We are perfectly positioned to serve the New York and New Jersey metropolitan areas.
The successful candidate should have 2 to 5 years experience in the environmental consulting industry, be self-motivated, entrepreneurial and technologically proficient, possess good writing, communication and research skills, and demostrate a passion for the industry. Those averse to field work need not apply. Outstanding candidates without experience will be considered.
Job Description
. Develop soil and groundwater investigation work plans and cost estimates; . Implement soil and groundwater investigation work plans; . Retain and supervise subcontractors; . Develop conceptual models for contaminant source, fate and transport; . Design and implement remediation activities using innovative and conventional methods; . Interact with clients; . Prepare remedial investigation and remedial action work plans and reports for submittal to clients and regulatory agencies; . Research new investigative methodologies and remedial technologies.
Requirements:
.Must possess at least a bachelors degree in geology or hydrogeology or another related science; .Must be technologically proficient, and .Knowledge of CAD and wiki software a plus.
