GIS Specialist I

Michael Baker Corporation, consistently ranked in the top 10% of Engineering News-Record’s Top 500 Design Firms, and with over 40 offices nationwide, is seeking a GIS Specialist I for their Fort Polk, LA location.

Qualifications include a B.S. in Geography, Engineering or similiar.  Three to five years of Web programming for GIS.  Computer skills needed for the position include ASP, HTML, VB programming, web development in a GIS environment.  Oracle database skills are a plus.

Lead GIS web developer / programmer responsible for programming and maintenance of GIS on the web using ASP, HTML, Visual Basic and IIS server.  Knowledge and experience with GIS concepts in an Intergraph GeoMedia or ERSI environment is required.  Duties include GIS Data Analysis, input and management, GIS and Web Server administration.
