Job Description: Primary responsibility of this position will be: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned: Under immediate supervision, provide routine, technical support to projects and proposals, primarily in the areas related to geology, hydrogeology, fieldwork, and data interpretation/presentation. • Provide geology and hydrogeology input to projects. • Expand department’s capabilities to perform hydrogeologic investigations and remediation projects. • Assume supporting technical role in assigned projects. • Perform field testing, sampling, and investigation work. • Travel required. Qualifications: Minimum 0-2 year(s) experience with a similar consulting firm (like Tetra Tech) in GEOSCIENCE Education and/or Experience: Minimum BS degree in GEOSCIENCE. Minimum 0-2 years experience in a related field. Specialized Training: Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: General computer, word processing, and spreadsheet capabilities are required. Basic computer use skills required, advanced skills desirable. Knowledge / experience in computer-based, geosciences - related, data evaluation software and / or groundwater flow / contaminant transport modeling is desirable. Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
