Job Description Job Title: Freelance EngineerDepartment: EngineeringReports to: VP, Engineering Job Summary: Lifetime Networks is seeking a Fulltime Freelance Maintenance Engineer for our Master Control-Post Production facility located in Chelsea. Job Responsibilities: Maintain the integrity of the transmission of all Lifetime Networks 24/7. Corrective and preventative maintenance of Broadcast Operations equipment. Corrective and preventative maintenance of Post Production equipment. Requirements: Experience with the major components of a broadcast facility. Experience with the major components of a computer network. Experience with Harris Automation, Omneon Servers, Miranda Presmaster. Familiarity with satellite transmission systems. Familiarity with Avid NLE, Apple XSAN. Ability to troubleshoot equipment to the board level. Ability to troubleshoot systems to the component level. Must be self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. Ability to re-prioritize on a moments notice. Must be available for shift work.
