Field Engineer- X-Ray Experience

About the position:

We are seeking an individual with networking skills to install and service our Dental Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) scanners and 3D medical workstations. This position will include travel in the US and possibly abroad (up to 75% travel).   Company headquarters are located in San Mateo, CA, however, candidates do not need to be located in the Bay Area.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

-          Installation and servicing of Dental CBCT Scanners

-          Setting up networking (LAN) for the scanner PC and remote client PCs

-          System troubleshooting on site or by phone / email

-          Solving tech support issues by responding to customers directly

-          Contacting customer sites for installation and service follow-ups

-          Supporting marketing activities with demo system installations

 

Qualifications:

 

-          Minimum 2 years of experience in installing or servicing X-Ray Systems

-          CBCT experience is a plus and will be highly valued for qualification

-          Must posses networking skills and IT experience

-          Good knowledge of hardware and software trouble-shooting

-          Must be familiar with or must have knowledge of radiation regulations

-          Must be able to lift 60-80 pounds.

-          Excellent qualitative and quantitative analytical skills and the ability to think strategically

-          Excellent communication skills is a MUST, both verbal and written

-          Proven success in working in a start-up environment

-          Knowledge of DICOM configuration and/or PACS communications is a plus but not required
