Field Engineer, Water Process Systems QUALIFICATIONS:DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Identify for procurement, all spare parts and media required to assure reliability and optimal performance of water systems supporting the facilities and processes of BIVI Identify, develop and provide hands-on troubleshooting/repair and implementation all preventive (PM,), proactive Pam and predictive Pdm necessary to support the reliability, efficiency and quality of facility water systems and associated equipment Plan, schedule and coordinate any shutdown associated repair or preventive maintenance activities in a way that eliminates or minimizes disruption to production schedules While keeping self current on all latest technology in the field, identify and provide training to maintenance personnel and end users of water systems as required, assuring development training & adherence to facility SOP'sp> Maintain work record histories of all water systems related equipment utilizing the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) work order module for creating and documenting orders for all required work whether performed internally or by contractors Perform all duties within the guidelines and policies required of a GMP environment and following all corporate and local internal requirements of budget management, finance, environmental health and safety, as well as all governing and regulatory agencies Identify and recommend water system equipment and process improvements including support and direct involvement in engineering projects Utilize technical skills and experience to support other production and ancillary processes as required to assure reliability and productivity of the facility Provide for supervisory and leadership support as needed to facilities staff College degree in an engineering discipline or technical degree in an engineering or maintenance related field with progressive experience of at least 5 years in the maintenance field of pharmaceutical or biological water treatment and process support Work history specific to the mechanical and electronic/electrical aspects of RO, DI, WFI, Clean Steam systems and associated water treatment processes and equipment is a must Familiarity with work order systems and utilization of a CMMS is desirable Corporate Site
