Experienced Mechanical Engineer -- Fossil Power

Position Description:

* Challenging assignments that include investigating, trouble-shooting, and solving a wide variety of mechanical engineering issues.* Developing integrated mechanical system designs.* Presenting your findings and recommendations to clients and your peers.* Developing your career through sharing of knowledge with other experienced engineers.* Providing guidance and consultation with project teams, clients, and suppliers, during the performance of project-specific activities.* Providing guidance as a mentor in the development of less experienced engineers.

Qualifications:

* BSME required; MSME preferred.* 10 or more years experience in fossil power generation or heavy industry mechanical engineering with a focus on integrated detailed system design for facilities upgrades, modifications, or replacements, including the selection of equipment, piping materials, control philosophy, and the preparation of performance sizing calculations and specifications.* Experience with serving as firm/client liaison in a lead mechanical engineering role.* PE license preferred.
