Whitestone Associates Inc.  is currently recruiting for a Mid-Level Geotechnical Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Warren, New Jersey office.  Salary commensurate with experience.  Excellent benefits available.

Minimum Requirements:

·  BS or MS in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.

·  PE (or on track to obtain PE).

·  Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

·  5 to 10 years experience.

·  Capable of detailed geotechnical analyses for foundation recommendations, settlement, consolidation theory, slope stability, earthwork evaluations, retaining structure consulting, geotechnical report preparation.

·  Experience scoping projects and preparing proposals.

 

Overall Job Duties:

 

Position involves coordinating and managing all aspects of geotechnical investigation, engineering, and inspection including field investigation; geotechnical laboratory analyses; evaluation/calculation of pertinent geotechnical parameters; evaluation of foundation types and design parameters; report preparation; and construction phase inspection and consultation.
