Position Overview:Chevron North America Exploration & Production Company is accepting online applications for the position of Eunice Production Engineer, located in Midland, Texas.The Eunice Production Engineer is part of a multi-disciplinary field management team which includes Production/Operations Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, Earth Science, Operations, Facility Engineering and Well Construction. The focus of this position is on enhancing base production through sound asset/reservoir management, well-bore management (artificial lift, workovers, completions, etc.) and near-well-bore reservoir optimization. The Eunice Production Engineer will also assist the Operations Team with cost management initiatives. This area has numerous oil and gas fields in the Carlsbad and Eunice areas. Qualifications:Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:• Identify areas for optimization and production enhancement.• Review well performance and reservoir surveillance and merge this information into an action plan.• Communicate and coordinate with the field operations personnel.• Assist the operations team with cost management initiatives. Required Qualifications: • A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.• Knowledge of artificial lift, remedial wellwork operations, well stimulation and well completions.• Knowledge and experience in enhanced oil recovery (CO2 and/or waterflood), pattern balancing, water alternating gas cycling/optimization, development drilling programs, property assessments, reserves management, etc.Preferred Qualifications: • A Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering.
