Equipment Technician III

Performs routine adjustments, test, inspections, installations, maintenance and repairs to equipment in the shop. Takes field calls as needed.2. Safely loads and unloads equipment for transporting.3. Completes necessary paperwork, including work orders, parts oders and billings.4. Ensures all aspects of houskeeping are addressed and met.5. Communicates effectively with customers regarding general service needs.Qualifications1. HS Diploma or equivalent.2. Basic computer skills.3. Can operate a variety of heavy & light construction equipment safely.4. Thorough knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems and schematics, drive train and diesel/gasoline engines.5. Thorough knowledge of all types & applications of equipment.6. Physically able to squat, stoop, bend, climb, lie on back, lift and pull, reach up and out.7. Ability to lift 70 pounds, carry 50 pounds and use a 10 pound sledgehammer.8. 3-5 years experience in equipment industry.
