At PAETECPeople Are Our Priority PAETEC’s integrated communications solutions are as broad as the nationwide markets we serve, and as specific as the individual needs of businesses.  We bring extraordinary experience and flexibility to tailoring individual solutions for our customers, and we back it up with our commitment to service excellence.  It’s our passion – a passion for quality.  PAETEC has an immediate opening for aEquipment Engineer Job Description:  Provide the engineering, R&D, purchasing and project management for all growth of central office telecommunications, power, HVAC, and fire protection systems to accommodate sales growth, expansions, and new markets.Responsibilities:  Timely and accurate growth of C.O. equipment, power, HVAC, and fire protection systems to accommodate sales and expansions in assigned offices.  Monthly trend analysis required.  Equipage to be tracked and reported for assigned equipment.  TBS order activity for assigned offices.  Consistently manage and close TBS tasks accurately and within required time frame.  Timely and accurate growth of collocation space in assigned offices to accommodate sales and expansions.  Provide forecast and cost information necessary to establish annual CAPEX budget, which could be in excess of $10 million for this department.  Create and maintain CAD drawings which represent assigned office layout and floorplan, SS7/special circuit design for assigned offices, complex customer applications, telecom equipment bay detail drawings and requested network drawings. Commit the resources necessary to maintain the companies ISO compliance under PaeTec's ISO plan.  Provide the engineering, R&D, purchasing and project management for the site selection, office design, and all aspects of the construction of new central office locations.
