Position available for a mid-level Environmental Remediation Engineer to work on multiple interesting cleanup projects in the Puget Sound region for a wide variety of industrial clients, developers, and ports. The successful candidate will provide task management and engineering support to a number of upland and in-water projects and will have the opportunity to significantly increase project management, engineering, and client management responsibilities. Specific work may include design and implementation of site investigations, preparation of cost estimates and feasibility studies, design and specification of cleanup actions, and construction management. Example projects include implementing a river bank stabilization project, implementing stormwater upgrades, design and installation of a groundwater remediation system at a large industrial complex, and designing a removal action along a river. Other related duties may be assigned.QualificationsCandidates must have a Bachelors degree in Civil, Environmental, or Geological engineering and 3 to 8 years of experience in the environmental industry. Strong utility, wood treater, railroad, port, or petroleum industry experience is highly desirable.
